Junior Race Camps – Summer 2011
Once again On Track Karting is offering Junior Race Camps. These 3-day camps are designed to help juniors learn proper race line, develop better kart control, and experience actual wheel-to-wheel competition. Camps will run Tuesday through Thursday, 10 AM to 1 PM each day, and include classroom sessions, track walks, lunch, instructor critiques, and over 3 hours of track time. Each camp is $300 per participant and is limited to 12 drivers.
Currently three sessions have been scheduled (we may add additional camps in August if any of these fill up):
Novices (little to no karting experience): Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, July 19-21
Experienced Juniors: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, July 26-28
Upgrade Camp* (open to ages 12-15): Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, August 2-4
*Our Upgrade Camp offers 12 to 15 year-olds with some karting experience the opportunity to upgrade to our adult karts. Upgrades are not automatic. Drivers must demonstrate proficiency, speed, and good judgement.
To register, please call the track during normal business hours at 203-626-0464. We’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding these programs. Registration requires a $50 deposit.

Looking to find that extra couple tenths? Attempting to qualify for the super karts? Trying to figure out the correct line or just how to drive better? On Track offers private one-on-one race instruction for both juniors and adults of all abilities. We’ll cover proper race line, braking points, and other driving strategies to give you the edge. Call us at (203) 626-0464 or stop by the registration counter and we’ll set you up with one of our instructors. The instructor’s time is only $25 per hour (races purchased separately).
